Crazy Samurai in Hot Springs

The food was great, my guys had the sushi and said it was fantastic. I had the fried rice side... wow! You say that's a little much for rice?! Not hardly, if they can elevate plain rice to taste that good, I can only imagine what they can do with high end ingredients! Service A+

Favorite sushi in Hot Springs! Watched them get about 10 To-Go orders in the 10 minutes I was there and they didn't skip a beat. The dude in the Pirates Jersey was crushing the sushi bar and the young guy putting orders together was just sweetest!! Love the variety and the service!!

My husband and I came for lunch one day drove an 1.5 hour to eat here. We were literally there right before they opened. We had some amazing sushi, and the drinks were just right. The chef even came out and asked us about our meal and thanked us for coming. Very neat place with decor too. We loved it and will be back again.

Great service, and tasty food! One of the best selections I've seen at a sushi joint. Wish it was a little less smokey inside, though. Kinda made my eyes water. Overall a good experience!

Amazing place for sushi/hibachi. Staff is very nice, attentive, and engaging. The food is top quality, just be ready to pay a little for that quality. Definitely worth the price though. The most welcoming experience I have had in a restaurant.

Crazy Samurai is the best place in Hot Springs for sushi hands down. The chef and wait staff are more than helpful and very courteous. The sushi is always fresh and the presentation is top notch.

I am from Chicago, and this is one of the best sushi places I've ever been! First of all, it's pretty cool and trendy looking. Lots of pillows to sit on, cute tables and chairs, nice decor and cool lights. Nice long bar in the front dining room, and another smaller one in the other room. We were brought miso soup right away, which I love, and not every place does that. We got hot tea, and it came with the whole (cute) tea pot. The sushi menu is very extensive, and there were a lot of roll combinations, and even some fish options, I've never seen before. Lots of rolls, platters, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. Raw and cooked. Something for everyone. The taste and quality of the fish is great, and the rolls are nice and stuffed. They don't try to skimp on the fish. The presentation was so pretty, too. It had flowers!The staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. There is also hibachi, but we didn't order it. I'm also really digging the music playlist, lol.

Best sushi in town... There are a lot of good dishes, if you’re willing to let the chef makes it his way!!! We come up to Hot Springs 3-4 times a years and this is a must stop.

The food was delicious and the hibachi chef put on an entertaining show. It was busy and the waitress was somewhat slow but the appetizers and dinner made up for that.It's a really laid back atmosphere and all the staff were super friendly. I really can't say enough about the food!

The most amazing sushi I've ever had!!! If it's your first time, try the Volcano Roll.... we always get one we KNOW we will like then we try a new one. I keep a log of the ones we like and dislike. The owner is very kind and friendly as well as his staff. It's slightly out of the way but definitely worth the drive! The drive is worth the difference. They also offer an hibachi grill. If you're vegan or vegetarian, their tempura tofu Melts in your mouth!

Such a great staff and very willing to help you figure out what you want. The soup was great and so was the sushi!

Great choice for our Hot Springs getaway! We ordered the Stuffed Jalapeño #1 appetizer, The Most Spicy Roll, and the CJ Roll. The chef didn’t think we could take the heat and came to visit us at the table - lol. Nothing was left on our plates but remnants of wasabi.

We had an amazing time, my sushi was phenomenal! I'm usually not overly fond of white fish, this was another story entirely. The Don't tell my girlfriend roll was awesome. My wife loved her hibachi meal, and Austin was great.

I really wanted to like it. Owner seemed like he couldn't be bothered, not very friendly. What I really didn't like was the cooler windows were blacked out. I've been to a lot of sushi joints and have never seen this. Usually they want you to see how fresh the ingredients are. Sketch.

I absolutely love their sushi and their presentation. The service is very good and they answer any questions you have about the food. It’s convenient that there is a cooked sushi section on their menu for those that can’t eat the raw fish. Their miso soup is delicious and the hibachi menu is on the expensive side but very worth it. They serve my favorite type of shrimp for the hibachi and the vegetable mix doesn’t just have the normal cheap broccoli, carrot, and onions there was also asparagus and bamboo shoots. I highly recommend this place. It’s one of the few places I’ve been to that has flaming rolls on their regular menu.

I found this hole in the wall place scrolling for a date spot while we were visiting Arkansas. My bf and I are really into Japanese food and it received good ratings so we tried here. We love the decorations and the music because it’s such a different atmosphere from a regular restaurant. They have PLENTY of different kinds of sushi rolls to choose from. We had the crazy samurai roll, crazy roll, shrimp tempura roll and spider roll; all of which were fantastic. We also had the ribeye and shrimp hibachi but we didn’t sit at the hibachi table. Of all the different Japanese sushi and hibachi places we’ve tried, we’ve been the most satisfied with this one.

Great music and excellent decor. The chef was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tables and chairs were very eclectic yet comfortable. The music was amazing without being overbearing. I will definitely visit again.

Now on their second year of best Japanese food in Arkansas chef Patrick knows what he's doing. Best Japanese / sushi / hibachi hands down you'll find in the state. Thanks guys.

They have great sushi. It makes for a nice, quick lunch or a great casual evening.

The chicken was fantastic. The steak good, normal hibachi taste. The rice was ok but not my favorite hibachi rice. They use like 10 eggs so if you like a lot of egg almost more egg than rice it's good. There isn't as much food as I've usually gotten at hibachi grills but there is plenty. You won't leave hungry. The soup is more onion tasting which I liked than mushroom flavor. Yum yum and a really sweet ginger sauce are offered with the meal. I'm partial to mustard sauce and a little less sweet ginger. Nice atmosphere. The owner was our cook. He was quite pleasant. I didn't have sushi but I heard others complimenting on it.

Great dining experience. Roger was our server and he was awesome. The daily specials are definitely worth checking out. We also had the Most Expensive Roll, Firecracker Roll, and Chicken Happier Meal. They were all so tasty and it was amazing. Highly recommend

Went with my Son and his 2 Boys. Loved it so very much. Everyone was super nice. Food and atmosphere (music) was great. The youngest child really blue color lights.

The hibatchi chicken teriyaki was amazing, ginger salad was sweet, and the sushi plating was adorable

Crazy Samurai? Maybe, but crazy expensive! I'm used to paying a lot for Hibachi, but this was considerably more than others I've been to in Arkansas, Texas and Utah. It was not busy, so we got right in, it was quite delicious and the service was good, so I give 4 stars.To the owners, bring the prices down to where it should be and you'll be more busy and get higher reviews.

The best quality sushi that I've had in the United States. My mom is from Tokyo and we eat at crazy Samurai often, we both love it.

What a fantastic sushi place. The sashimi I had was fresh and tasted wonderful. The sushi rolls I ordered were amazing! Their fried rice is awesome. I also enjoyed their sake menu. The staff was very attentive, and they made sure my experience was phenomenal. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Found this place on a date; we both love sushi. Needless to say I will be back many times. The food was amazing, Roderick was great and he is right about the “Don’t tell anyone “ is excellent. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Amazing sushi. We started with the stuffed jalapeños, which are hand made on site, delish!! Then we ordered several rolls.... Baked salmon, spicy tuna, California & the Pacific roll. All of them were amazing. The folks that own the place couldn't be any more nicer, wonderful peeps & excellent staff.

I fixed their deep freezer. Great atmosphere. Very professional place. Great management. Thx.
